It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Boyd Wakefield Leggett of Normal, Illinois, who passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Oren and Bessie B. Morris Leggett Sr.; his wife Joan L. Burkholder; and his siblings, Forbes, Clyde O. Jr., Lynn, George T. Leggett, Leone Blixt, Eloise Lenich and Anne Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Janice D'Agostino (Tony) of McHenry, Illinois, Linda Manes (Mike) of Hiram, Georgia and Brian Leggett (Teresa) of Hudson, Illinois.; and his sister Joyce Leggett of Tucson, Arizona. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Normal First United Methodist Church in Normal, Illinois.
