We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2024, at the age of 84, Fred F. Groves of Normal, Illinois, born in Mansfield, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his former life partner Nanette Rusk Groves. He is survived by : his wife Sandra Groves of Normal; his sons, Rick Groves (Kriz) of Renton, WA, Ted Groves (Jane Cuthbertson) of Belchertown, MA and Steven Groves (Laurie) of Orlando, FL; his stepdaughter Caroline Swartwood (Rich) of Murfreesboro, TN; his brother Harland L. Groves (Joan) of Mansfield, OH; his grandchildren, Tiffany Groves, Jay Groves, Henry Groves, Will Groves, Hannah Groves, Ryan Swartwood, Caitlyn Swartwood and Eric Swartwood; his great grandchildren, Lexie Roberts, Natalie Groves, Maci Johnson, Quincy Johnson and Emma Groves; his great great grandchildren, Julian Williams and Jamir Williams; and his nieces and nephews, Jenny Groves, Connie Groves, Alison Kelso, Brady Groves and David Ashcraft.

Memorial contributions may be made to Second Presbyterian Church.
