With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gladys Thomas of Normal, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 102. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gladys Thomas to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Breckenridge and Edna Redfern Breckenridge; and her husband Woody Thomas of Hudson. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Hospelhorn (Keith) and Sally Thomas; her grandsons, Jason Hospelhorn (Liz) and Adam Hospelhorn (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Abby, Sarah, Hannah, Kinley and Carter Hospelhorn. She is also survived by "Grams" to her grandsons and "T" to her great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Normal First United Methodist Church (211 N School St, Normal, IL 61761). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
