He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis, Sr. Vaughn and Nellie Vaughn (Applebee); and his siblings, Louis "Bud" Vaughn, Jr., Edith McCown, Lillian Clark and Elsie Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Martha White; his children, Jeff Vaughn (Doreen), Karen Leathers, Judy Shickel (Don), Hudson and Diane Vaughn; his grandchildren, Tyler Vaughn (Kelsey), Jared Vaughn (Kelly), Lyndsey Mann (Marcus), Kaleigh Vaughn, Amber Leathers, Donnie Shickel, Jr., Jennifer Deuel (Randy), Kayla Koenig and John Koenig; and his sister Ruth Torres (Emil). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to be made to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
