Herbert H. Renken Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025, at the age of 93, Herbert H. Renken of Normal, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Renken and Marie Renken (Miller); and his wife Esther Joan Waller. He is survived by: his children, Mary Hall (Richard) of Normal, James Renken (Marsha) of Florida and Michael Renken of Normal; his grandchildren, Melody, Tony, Jayme, James, Christopher and Kimberly; and his siblings, Marilyn and Gerald (Barb). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (3516 White Eagle Dr, Bloomington, IL 61704). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bloomington.
