Jana Thackrey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2025, at the age of 59, Jana Thackrey of Normal, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Jana's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jana has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Thackrey and Judith Thackrey (Cornelius); and her children, Tony and Kaylee.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sims Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to All American Dachshund Rescue (AADR), The Asher House, or American Cancer Society.
