He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Vogler and Cecelia Vogler (John); and his son Jerry Allen Vogler, Jr. (Jakie). He is survived by: his wife Suzanna Laktas of Normal; his children, Kristen Eilts of Decatur and Benjamin Vogler of Japan; his grandchildren, Euler, Feynman, Linnaeus, Pauling and Wilson; and his sister Marsha Dorothy of Moline.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial (1104 N Main St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (106 W Chestnut St, Bloomington, IL 61701).
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
