He was predeceased by: his wife Lucy. He is survived by: his children, Dan Mancias (Michelle) of Normal and Diane Johnson (Jeff) of Pleasant Hill; his grandchildren, Will (Terra), José, Xavier, Aidan and Raquel; his great grandchildren, Elliott and Rhett; his sister Mary Ruth Mancias of California; and his sibling's children, Mary Anzaldua, Beatrice Cuen, Olga Garcia, Yolanda Sanchez and Juan Mejia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in José's name to Epiphany Catholic Church or the ARC Living Memorial Fund.
