He was predeceased by: his wife Lucy. He is survived by: his children, Dan Mancias (Michelle) of Normal and Diane Johnson (Jeff) of Pleasant Hill; his grandchildren, Will (Terra), José, Xavier, Aidan and Raquel; his great grandchildren, Elliott and Rhett; his sister Mary Ruth Mancias of California; his nieces, Mary Anzaldua, Beatrice Cuen, Olga Garcia and Yolanda Sanchez; and his nephew Juan Mejia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in José's name to Epiphany Catholic Church or the ARC Living Memorial Fund.
