We bid farewell to Joseph Michael Jantze of Normal, Illinois, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 23, 2024 at the age of 76. Joseph Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Jantze and Lola Eicher Jantze; his brothers, Jackie Lee and Maurice Jantze (Alberta); and his brother-in-law Ron Eberspacher.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Colter; his sisters, Marilyn Eberspacher of Milford, NE and Sherry Fougeron (Ken) of Lincoln, NE; and his brother-in-law David Colter (Wilma) of Hopedale, IL.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital Peoria Affiliate, The Kidney Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
