It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine A. Kimler of Normal, Illinois, who passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Josephine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Josephine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward and Helen Molek. She is survived by: her husband Charles L. Kimler; and her children, Dawn Carter of Normal, Lynne Johnson (Eric) of Heyworth, Cynthia Peasley of Bloomington and Bruce Kimler (Shelly) of Heyworth. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
