We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2023, at the age of 97, Joy Palmer of Normal, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, David L. Anderson and Sadie Anderson (Larson); her husband Mayor David S. Palmer; her son Curt Palmer; her granddaughter Kristine; and her brother David Anderson, Jr..
She is survived by : her children, Jan Coffman (Darryl) of Normal, IL, Jeff Palmer (Lynn), Greg Palmer (Maridale) of Danville, IL and Robert Palmer of Ft Myers, FL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Lexington Community Church at 515 S Pine, Lexington, Illinois 61753.
