He was predeceased by: his grandfather Robert Walder; and his aunt Ramona Gerst Humphreys. He is survived by: his parents, Benjamin Walder and Juanita Gerst Walder of Carlock; his siblings, Marlise Walder of Carlock, Lynn Walder of Chenoa, Keith Walder (Mikayla) of Eureka and Jason Walder of Carlock; and his grandparents, Bill, Judy Gerst of Burlington, IA and Gloria Walder of Eureka. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home - El Paso (40 W Main St, El Paso, IL 61738). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Goodfield-Congerville Apostolic Christian Cemetery (28 Grimm Road, Goodfield, IL 61742).
