He is survived by: his children, Colleen Colby of Bloomington, Steven Colby (Laurie) of Texas, Ann Wolfe (William) of Normal and Mary Colby of Normal; his grandchildren, Tiffany Colby of Texas, Nicholas Colby (Barbara) of Washington State, Caleb Mangruem of Normal, Jayden Mangruem, Jr. of Normal, Athanasius Wolfe of Normal, Martin Wolfe of Normal, Fidelia Wolfe of Normal and Mercy Wolfe of Normal; his great grandchildren, Dakota Rodriguez of Texas and Colton Rodriguez of Texas; and his siblings, Donald Colby of Texas and Louise Colby of Rock Island.
