She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Ehorn and Florence Ehorn; her husbands, Paul Schultz and Joseph Kroll; and her sons, Michael Schultz, Mark Schultz and Robert Kroll.

She is survived by: her sons, Steven Schultz (Marti) of Normal, Richard Schultz (Becky) of Oakley and Paul Robert Schultz (Patty) of Pontiac; her daughters-in-law, Cheryl Schultz of Carrollton, TX and Diane Schultz of Bloomington; and her sons, William Kroll (Mary) of Marco Island, FL and David Kroll (Lisa) of Danville, IN. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Marlene's name to Epiphany Catholic Church, Normal, IL or Alzheimer's research.
