She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hulvey and Bonita McBride Hulvey; her husband Donald R. Gottselig; and her siblings, Jim Hulvey, Marguerite Graft and Pauline Sorg.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald W. Gottselig of Palos Verdes, CA, Cheryl Hanson (John) of Bloomington, IL and Nancy Stone; her grandchildren, Amy Demas (Greg) of Lake Forest, IL, Allison Maute (Chris) of Wilmette, IL, Eddie Hanson (Jackie) of New Buffalo, MI and Ben Hanson of Costa Mesa, CA.; and her great grandchildren, Scarlet, Olivia, Claire Maute, Henry, Monroe Hanson, Lucy and Leo Demas.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to First Christian Church, Bloomington, IL, or the Home Sweet Home Mission Auxiliary to honor Mary Ellen's generous spirit and dedication to her community.
