She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Hillemeyer and Frances Hillemeyer; and her sisters, Helene Schoenhard and Joan Hillemeyer. She is survived by : her husband David T. "Ted" Vaughn; her sons, Aaron Vaughn (Sarah) of Los Angeles and Peter Vaughn (Emily) of Indianapolis; and her grandchildren, Anna Vaughn, Allison Vaughn, Ted Vaughn and Mick Vaughn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Epiphany Church or Epiphany School or for masses at the church.
