He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Holtz and Lorraine Holtz (O'Brokta); and his brother Steven Holtz. He is survived by: his sons, Adam Holtz of Normal, Brent Holtz of Normal and Erik Holtz of Normal; and his siblings, Kathleen Rowatt (Rich), Ronald Holtz (Rita) of Sanford, NC, Bruce Holtz (Kathy) and Mark Holtz of Summerville, SC. He is also survived by his family and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home (1800 Eastland Dr, Bloomington, IL 61704). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
