He was predeceased by : his parents, Victor Erzen and Margaret Erzen (Augustine); his siblings, Margie Ann and Vic; his sisters-in-law, Emma Jean and Joann Erzen; his son Mark; and his niece Linda Lesh.

He is survived by : his significant other Edith Rae Ford; his brother Tom; his children-in-law, Marian Erzen and Charles Lesh; his daughter Laura Dempsey (Ted Pitts); his grandchildren, Christa Flinchum (Jack), Colleen Dempsey (Kevin Truitt), Jennifer Marcu (Johnny), Jim Lesh (Rebecca), Jeff Lesh and Robert Erzen; his great grandchildren, Emmalyn, Hunter and Kayla Flinchum; and his granddaughters, Grace, Cecelia Lesh and Delilah Marcu.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Luther Oaks Retirement Community (601 Lutz Rd, Bloomington, IL 61704).

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages a contribution to a charity of your choice.
