It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Peterson of Normal, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard V Peterson and Edith Peterson (Christianson); his brother John H Peterson; and his sister-in-law Darlyn. He is survived by : his son Matthew V Peterson (Tresha). He is also survived by niece and three great nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home (1800 Eastland Dr, Bloomington, IL 61704).
