She was predeceased by: her brother Juan Escatiola. She is survived by: her parent Manuela Gloria Garza of Brownsville; and her family Bloomington. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and god children.
Sandra had a heart for giving back and paying forward, at times she would feed the homeless on cold winter nights, or donate to a cause because she knew what it meant.
