Susan A. Gundy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan A. Gundy of Normal, Illinois, who passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. H. Rowland and Mae Rowland (Pendleton); and her sister Carol Philpot. She is survived by: her sons, Benjamin Taylor (Danielle) of Fort Worth and Matthew Taylor (Lisa) of Pontiac; and her grandchildren, Melani (Todd), Lukas, Bacardy (Mary), Brian, Anya (Tommy), Katelyn and Alyssa. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial (1104 N Main St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Point Pleasant Cemetery (2895 S Point Pleasant Rd, Long Creek, IL 62521).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Susan's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
