She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Kaufman and Marie Kaufman; and the father of her children Thurman Bliss. She is survived by: her sons, Eric Bliss (Jessica Huffman) and Ryan Bliss (Jessica); her grandsons, Ian Bliss and Jason Bliss; and her siblings, Gary Kaufman (Claudia), Lonne Kaufman (Marcy), Ron Greene, Dan Greene (Susan), Ken Greene and Debbie Greene. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Memorials may be made in Tena's name to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation.
