She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Hillman and Ethel Hillman; her former husband George Carter, Sr.; and her daughter Kathleen Carter-Ball. She is survived by: her husband Glen Kinder; her sons, George Carter, Jr. (Teasha Walker) and James Carter; and her grandchildren, Don Michael Giese (Ashley), Sarah McCauley (James) and Amy Giese (Alizarin Salmi). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
