She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Gonsalves of Chicago, Illinois.; and her parents, Julie Fernandes and Gabriel Fernandes. She is survived by: her children, Stan (Shona Vas), Sam, Jackie and Savio (Carolyn); her grandchildren, John, Isabella, Anthony, Emily, Nihal and Riya; and her sisters, Maggie Baptista of Perth, Joyce Miranda of Dar, Joanita Birkmeyer (Robert), Jane Collins (James) and Leslie Gonsalves (Maureen).
