He is survived by: his children, Ines Gerardi (Jim) and Pete Fernandez (Joanna); his grandchildren, Joe (Allison Poole), Johnny (Kara), Nathan and Amelia; and his siblings, Alicia, Jesusa, Pedro and Ines.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Robert Bellarmine Church (4646 N Austin Ave, Chicago, IL 60630). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60706).
