Carole J. Thomas Obituary

Carole J. Thomas passed away peacefully on March 6, 2020. Carole was the beloved daughter of the late Louise and Elmer Thomas; dearest sister of Vivien Allman and the late Terry Thomas; loving aunt of Fred and John (Anna) Allman, Martha (David) Summer, Bob Allman and Carole Dunning; great aunt of Megan, Mollyanne, Melissa, Jessica, Brennan, Ethan, McKenzie, Logan, Keira, Trenton and the late Tyler; great-great aunt of River.

Carole worked as office manager and head legal secretary for the Law Office of Leahy, Eisenberg and Frankel for over 40 years, and she was most recently employed by S.O.A.R. Carole was known for her passion of many Chicago sports teams. Her love of the Bulls was shown through the many items of "Jordan" memorabilia she collected over the years.

Her excitement when the Cubs 108 year curse ended in 2016 was seen by all. Every time the Blackhawks brought home another Stanley Cup she was so happy, and was always hoping for another Bears Super Bowl win. Carole also had a love of fine Llardo collectibles.She was an avid shopper on the Mag Mile and Water Tower Place. Designer Handbags were a love of Carole's and she always made sure they matched her shoes.

She enjoyed her weekly trips to the hair and nail salon and always had her nails painted a various shade of red. She will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated. Memorial visitation Friday, March 13, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of a 5:00 p.m. memorial service at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL..
