We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2025, at the age of 84, Connie V. Karakosta (Norridge, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill"; her parents, Esther Demetry and Louis Demetry; her brother James Demetry (Diane); and her sister-in-law Penny Grabova (late Zoe).

She is survived by: her children, Corrie D'Angelo (Chuck), Dean Karakosta (Joy) and Stephanie Schoner (Jeff); her grandchildren, Christopher (Therese), Michael D'Angelo, Ryan, Stephen Karakosta, Allie LeMay (Brandon), Alex (Julee) and Niko Schoner; and her great grandchildren, Paulie, Pia Grace D'Angelo and Caleb Schoner. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren, and embraced the joy of her great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Misericordia Heart of Mercy or the Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated.
