He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia "Ginny"; his daughters, Christine Kozuch (Kyle) and Michelle Karlovitz (Patrick Ringel); his parents, Joseph Karlovitz and LaVerne Carrow; his grandchildren, Carter Kozuch, Kira Kozuch and Evelyn Ringel; his brothers, Kenneth Karlovitz (late Lynda), Ronald Karlovitz (late Cynthia), Wayne Karlovitz and William Karlovitz (Darlene); and his siblings-in-law, William Cherwin (Catherine), Marguerite Muller (Erven), Michael Cherwin (Donna), Kathleen Wagner (Clarence) and Mary Wagner (late Russel).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Borgia Church (8033 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
