We bid farewell to Eddy Moore (Norridge, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Eddy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Eddy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia Lee Moore; his daughters, Cynthia Lynn Moore and Caryn DiBenedetto (Frank); his grandsons, Frank DiBenedetto (Joanna) and Anthony DiBenedetto; and his siblings, Dempsey Moore and Ruth Jaworowski.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (501 W Holmes St, Chester, IL 62233).
Donations may be made in Eddy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
