Francesco Centineo Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2025, at the age of 94, Francesco Centineo (Norridge, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzo Centineo and Isabella Centineo; his parents-in-law, Salvatore and Rosaria Barravecchia; his siblings, Giuseppe Centineo (Rosaria) and Concetta Tumminello (Santo); and his uncle Salvatore Pintavalle.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa; his children, Isabella Affrunti (Benedetto) and Vincenzo Centineo; his grandsons, Anthony and Michael Affrunti; and his siblings, Lucia Fiduccia (late Sam) and Salvatore Centineo (Angela). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews along with many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). Viewing will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Queen of Peace Church (St. Eugene Church) (7958 W Foster Ave, Chicago, IL 60656). An entombment will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (3100 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171, USA).
