He was predeceased by: his parents, Panagiota Salapatas and Stavros Salapatas; and his daughter Mary. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Salapatas; his children, George Jr. (Michele), Michael (Judy), Christopher and Anastasia (Gary); and his grandchildren, Kali and Jadyn Salapatas (George Jr.).
