She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Pardys; her daughter Caryn Pardys; her parents, Sam Chaitin and Sara Chaitin (Purpler); her sisters, Lillian Mishkin (Ray) and Judi Bechar (Sim); and her siblings-in-law, Claire Rosen (Phil Mash) and Sylvia Miller (Louis "Red").
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Pardys (Sandy), David Pardys (Sandy) and Jonathan Pardys; her grandchildren, Carolyn Wagner (Josh), Jessica Laska (Mark), Sara Pardys (Daniel Flores), Amanda Caudill (Jake) and Allison Murphy (Cullyn); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Lucas, Bridget, Nathan Jason, Bria, Mia, Isaac and Imogen.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Synagogue Funeral Service (21 W Hawthorn Pkwy, Vernon Hills, IL 60061). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Westlawn Cemetery-Norridge (7801 W Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
