He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold L. Owen, Sr. and Corinne Owen; his stepfather Hans Petersen; his wife Joyce Owen; his children, Debbie Johnson (Dean), Dawn Montgomery (Tommy), Brian Owen (Gena), Jason Owen (Emily), Scott Owen (Angela) and Curtis Owen (Linda); his grandchildren, Jimmy Coates, Sarah Coates, Jake Owen (Jaime), Abigail Owen, Jordan Owen, Lucas Owen, Devin Owen, Brady Owen, Lena Owen and Soren Owen; his sister Marilyn Kremnitzer; and his siblings-in-law, Gayle Langwost, Denis Langwost and Arlene Herbert.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Mt. Emblem Cemetery (520 E Grand Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
