Iurii leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Iurii’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Iurii will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Ivanna; and his children, Sofiya and Misha.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph the Betrothed Ukrainian Catholic Church (5000 N Cumberland Ave, Chicago, IL 60656). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery (8851 W Higgins Rd, Chicago, IL 60631).
