She was predeceased by : her spouse Mieczyslaw; and her parents, Heronima (Kazimierz) and Lukasz (Bartek Karbowiak). She is survived by : her children, Bozena Karbowiak, Tadeusz (Malgorzata) and Roman Stepkowski (Edyta); and her sister-in-law Jadwiga Suchodolski (Edward). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Saint James the Apostle Catholic Church (5730 W Fullerton Ave, Chicago, IL 60639). A burial was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60706).
