She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Engel and Marie Engel; and her sibling LaVerne Roulo (late Howard). She is survived by: her husband Jim Hamilton; her children, Steven Hamilton, Sheri Cichon (Dean) and Jackie Yerkes (Patrick); her grandchildren, Mark Hamilton, Brian Hamilton (Grecia), Christine Dahm (Andrew), Matthew Yerkes (Aoife), Kevin Hamilton (Audrey), Erin Nicholas (Michael), Emily Park (Grant), Daniel Hamilton, Jamie Yerkes, Elizabeth Hamilton and Rosie Hamilton; and her great grandchildren, Rivers, Runi, Harper and Sophie.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 8:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (46 N Wolf Rd, Northlake, IL 60164).
