It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John M Szeszol (Norridge, Illinois), who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Christine; his son Jonathan Szeszol; and his siblings, Kathie (Tom), Jane (Dennis), Jerry (Alicia) and Anne.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Borgia Church (8033 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634).
Donations may be made in John's memory to The Weber High School Scholarship fund or St. Francis Borgia School.
