He was predeceased by : his wife Carol; and his siblings, James and Rose Ann Kole. He is survived by : his children, John (Donna), Tressa Patrias (Jeff), Steve (Christy) and Bob (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Joe (Emily), Brittany (Matthew), Jaime (Ben), Bob, Jr., T. J. (Mary Margaret), Jack, Jeffrey (Makayla), Dan, Kevin, Kelsey, Matthew, Nicholas and Jason; his great grandchildren, Mia, Aiden and Olivia; his siblings, Pat (Joan) and Sam (Wendy); and his brother-in-law Rev. Robert Rizzo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
