He was predeceased by : his wife Virgina Scarpelli; his parents, Ernest Scarpelli and Mary Scarpelli; and his siblings, Joseph (Geraldine), Marion (Anthony) and Ernest Scarpelli (Ida).

He is survived by : his children, Robert (Janice) and Rosemary Scarpelli; his grandchildren, Ryan and Rob Scarpelli (Lisa); his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Evan and Lia Scarpelli; and his brother Raymond (Carol).
