She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peszek and Eleanor Peszek; and her brother Fredrick. She is survived by: her husband Norbert Placek; her children, Cyndee Jackowski (late Dale) and Rob Placek (Margaret); her grandchildren, Kristy Merrill (Mike), Brad Jackowski, Kelly Atkinson (Sean), Jennifer Malave (Chris) and Eric Placek; her great grandchildren, Cole, Eleigh, Avery and Finley; and her siblings, Casimer, Henry, Walter, Genevieve, Lorraine and Evelyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
