We bid farewell to Raul Martinez (Norridge, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 1, 2025 at the age of 73. Raul touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Raul may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Raul touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alicia Martinez; and his children, Susana Munoz (Pepe), Martha Arroyo (Pepe) and Raul Martinez (Brenda).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Borgia Church (8033 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (3100 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171, USA).
