He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen; his parents, Marie O'Brien and William O'Brien; his grandfather Phillip O'Brien (Gramps); his parents-in-law, Mae and John O'Connor; his sister Marie Rizzo (late John); and his siblings-in-law, Jack O'Connor (Ellen), Regina O'Connor and Connie Musto.

He is survived by: his sons, Gerard P. (Donna) and Raymond G. (Geraldine); his grandchildren, Jeffrey (Kathryn), Kevin (Lauren), Patrick (Nicole), Sean, Brendan, Megan and MIchael (Judy); his sister Virginia Lipinski (late Al); and his sister-in-law Joanne "Pat" Sciaccotta (late Anthony).
