He is survived by: his spouse Fidelia; and his children, Teresa Lessner (late Mike), Rosa Linares, Olga Alverio, Isabel Rojas, Luz Villaroel (late Ramon), Francisco Avila (Charity), Carmen Ortiz, Martha McNab (Russell) and Rosendo Avila.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the St Joseph Catholic Cemetery (3100 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171, USA).
