He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jakob Klingenberg (Janell), Heinz Klingenberg (late Barbara) and Erwin Klingenberg (Irmgard). He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth (Schoenewald); his children, Edwin Klingenberg (Marina) and Linda Abbadi (Frank); his grandchildren, Carrie Van Nes (Timothy), Laura Johnson (Parker), Jennifer Keown (Adam), Mark Gagliano and Tracy Gagliano; and his sister Anneliese Howton (late Donald).
