We are sad to announce that, on December 4, 2025, at the age of 61, David Brockett of Norris City, Illinois, born in Evansville, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Brockett to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid David farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Reece Brockett and J. Marie Brockett (Walker). He is survived by: his sister Brenda Covert of Greer. He is also survived by niece, nephew, and two grandnieces whom he dearly loved; an uncle and aunt; and many beloved cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David's memory to the Southeastern Illinois Suicide Prevention Task Force or to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
