He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendall Boyd and Lucille Boyd (Bloodworth); his wife Judy Boyd (Stover); and his brother Max Ward. He is survived by: his son Curtiss Boyd (Farrah) of Norris City; his siblings, Wayne Boyd (Lavada) and Connie Conlin; and his grandchild Madison Leu (Nevan) of Norris City.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Enfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James's memory to Senior Citizens Meals on Wheels and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi or by mail to 609 W. Main Street, Carmi, IL 62821.
