She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Phillips and Ruth Phillips (Duvall); and her siblings, Charles Phillips, Wayne Phillips, Frank Phillips, Everett Phillips, Herschel Phillips, Morris Phillips, Mary Lou Westbrook, Aldean Smythe and Marlene Horn.
She is survived by: her son Scott Johnson of Omaha, IL; her grandchildren, Seth Johnson (Brooklyn) and Molly Johnson; her great grandchild Wade Johnson; and her siblings, Doris Guinn, Vera Ziegler, Ailene Anderson, Barbara Brooks, Kathy Brooks and Michael Phillips. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sylvia's name to the Linda E. White Hospice House, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.
