He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Dempsey (Olech); his sons, Brian Dempsey and Kevin Dempsey (Jacqueline); and his grandchildren, Caillie Dempsey, Jack Dempsey, Daniel Dempsey and Duncan Dempsey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
