Wanda Pelszynski Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Pelszynski of North Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on June 19, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wanda Pelszynski to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wladyslaw Klimaszewski and Zofia Klimaszewski (Magnuszewska); her grandson Nicholas Orjuela; and her sister Helena Tekien (late Chester). She is survived by: her daughters, Lucy Devermann (Robert) of Batavia and Diana Orjuela (Miguel) of Batavia; her grandchildren, Emily Risner, Alexis Orjuela and Samantha Orjuela; her stepgrandchildren, Samantha Hammonds (Kenny) and Zak Devermann; and her sisters, Jadwiga Zub, Halina Jaworowska and Maria Pisanko. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (324 E State St, Geneva, IL 60134). A wake will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (801 Oak St, North Aurora, IL 60542).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Diana Orjuela, 673 Blackhawk Dr, Batavia, IL 60150 or Lucy Devermann, 1643 Hadley, Batavia, IL 60510 (all proceeds will be donated to a local animal humane society) would be appreciated.
