He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Victor Ferguson and June Ferguson (Timms); his wife Susan Ferguson; and his sisters, Carol, Cathie, Gail and Melody.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Ferguson (Karen) of Hawthorn Woods, IL and Amy Sue Ferguson of Highland Park, IL.; his grandchildren, Natalie and Benjamin Ferguson; and his godchild Brianne Sprenger of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
